Overview
As a Professional Services Project Manager, you will be responsible for management, supervision and implementation of Nakisa HR and Talent Management Solutions for our clients. Leading the project from conceptualization through implementation, you will manage and supervise internal cross-functional project teams to deliver solution offerings that meet the customer needs and exceed their expectations. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on schedule and on budget while fostering positive project team dynamics.
Responsibilities
Ensure smooth project delivery according to Nakisa’s project management methodology including:
Proactively manage scope and invoke change request process when required
Manage the overall schedule to ensure work is resourced and completed on time
Identify, manage and drive resolution of project issues
Identify and mitigate project risk
Manage project costs according to project budget
Monitor and control project activities
Ensure smooth transition to support
Provide timely and accurate project reporting including weekly project dashboar and bi-weekly project invoicing
Lead highly-skilled, cross-functional teams consisting of developers and consultants across one or more projects
Submit time reporting on a weekly basis
Approve timesheets for team members, ensuring project budget is respected
Actively participate in further development of Nakisa project management processes, to ensure continuous improvement
Participate in ongoing discussions with management on career development planning and execution
Provide individual feedback to enable career growth and development
Skills
Requirements
Minimum 5 years in project management capacity
University degree in BA, Marketing, MIS, Computer Science. MBA would be a definite asset
Experience managing teams of 5+ resources
Software industry experience is a must
Human Capital Management (HR) domain / industry knowledge is a definite asset
Experience managing international projects in complex environments
Excellent negotiating skills to be able to reach agreements where all parties are satisfied and good relationships are maintained
PMP desirable
Excellent communication skills including high degree of comfort interacting at C-Level internally and externally
Experience working with technology from partners such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft and Microsoft
Excellent English skills
